Robby H. Birnbaum is a Partner at Greenspoon Marder, where he began his legal career in 1998. He leads the firm’s Regulatory Compliance and Financial Services Practice Groups, chairs the Health and Consumer Insurance Sales Regulatory Group, and serves on the firm’s Management Committee.

With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Birnbaum advises clients across the financial services, health insurance, travel, and consumer protection industries. He provides strategic legal counsel on compliance, advertising, licensing, privacy, and regulatory defense. His practice spans matters involving the CFPB, FTC, state attorneys general, and insurance and banking regulators.

Widely recognized as a leading attorney in the debt relief, credit counseling, credit repair, vehicle service contract, and seller of travel sectors, he represents over 500 companies and regularly works with private equity and public firms on high-stakes transactions and compliance strategies. He also serves as outside general counsel to many of the firm’s largest clients.

Mr. Birnbaum is Vice Chairman of the American Association for Debt Resolution, former president of the American Fair Credit Council and National Association of Credit Service Organizations, and Administrator of the Vehicle Protection Association. He is highly engaged in legislative advocacy and regulatory affairs at the federal and state levels.

He holds both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Wisconsin and practices out of the firm’s Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami offices.
